I was on the Tom Woods Show. My interview with historian Tom Woods, PhD, will stream at 9 PM Eastern tonight. We discuss my new book 'Psychopathic Authoritarianism: A Disease of the Soul'. As a speaker and an author, Tom has been a passionate and intelligent voice for liberty for decades.
Since March 11-13, 2020, I’ve noticed that every head of state seems to be in conflict with their own people, and at this point, it feels like there’s no end in sight.
I've started reading it but the memories of what I lived through came swiftly roiling up; I think I'm going to find this a very difficult read... Not to mention the mulish, shit-for-brains stupidity of about 98% of humanity...
"The dark fire will not avail you, flame of Udûn. Go back to the Shadow! You cannot pass."
I've made the study of evil an amateur pastime over much of my life. It can get overwhelming. The career of Aliestar Crowley is a piquant example, but Tony Fauci and Bill Gates could certainly give him a run for his money.
Wow, what a convergence of interests! I love Tom Woods! It would be great to interview you one day to discuss the topic and your book. I'd love to get a signed copy.
Your book is at top of list for my next book purchase!
But I’m curious, please … do You discuss the studies done by neuro researchers who did brain scans on criminal prisoners and people in mental institutions? They claimed a high percentage of these subjects had diminished amygdala or frontal lobe tissue, or less than average neural connectivity between brain components. They stated this could produce lowered or no empathy toward other human beings, a characteristic of narcissism, sociopathy, and psychopathy.
I also remember reading Adam Smith’s *Theory of Moral Sentiments* and kept thinking about *mirror neurons* and how they could also contribute to “walking in someone else’s shoes,” a factor in empathy. I wonder if this biological, genetic deficiency could account for much of what some people call demonic possession or other bad behavior? And if so, how much so?
I’ve been informally studying this kind of stuff from the mid-70s, and I’m curious as to what you think about those potential factors? The downside of that approach is such people’s bad behavior would be a problem of semi-fixed, genetic physiology, and recovering their soul might not even be possible???

It is not all dark. Finishes on a more positive note. I am examining evil.

lol
I composed a review but it seems to be shadowbanned. I think it was counted in the 5-star reviews.
I would nessage them to see what happened. That is crazy.
